Last Updated on June 20, 2024 by Ron D. Morgan

Your billing cycle starts counting from the day you subscribe to any of Boost Mobile’s plans. If for any reason you can’t pay your Boost Mobile bill and want to know if they offer any form of payment extension, this post is for you.

In a nutshell, the answer is yes. Boost Mobile offers a payment extension in the form of their Boost Mobile Premier Program. The program gives you an extra 14 days grace period from the date your bill is due to pay up.

Continue reading to understand how the Boost Mobile payment extension program works. Also, you will learn how to key into the program and other options available to subscribers without access to the Premier program.

How Does The Boost Mobile Billing Work?

When you first subscribe to Boost Mobile network, you subscribe to one of their monthly plans. You make your first payment on the first day you subscribe to the pay.

The first payment is usually higher than subsequent payments because it contains the cost of the SIM card kit and activation and setup costs.

Subsequently, your billing cycle starts to count. Your next billing cycle will be 30 days from the last payment date. Boost Mobile will send you a payment invoice via email or text.

The bill contains your account information, the amount to pay, and details of the charges. You are expected to pay the bill on or before the due date.

The exception is old-time users that opted for the pay-as-you-go option. The pay-as-you-go option comes with an extra $5 monthly fee.

What Happens When You Fail To Pay Your Boost Mobile Bill?

A day after your Boost Mobile bill is due your service will be partially interrupted if you fail to pay your bill. This means that you can’t make calls or send texts, but you can receive calls and texts.

During this period, Boost Mobile will send you a payment reminder. The reminder notifies you to pay your bill within a stipulated time to avoid a penalty fee. If you still don’t pay after the timeframe given, Boost Mobile reserves the right to completely interrupt your service.

Boost Mobile gives you 60 days from the date your bill is due to pay up or have your service cut off. The exception is if you are subscribed to the Boost Mobile premier program.

Understanding Boost Mobile Premier Program

The Boost Mobile Premier program offers you a 14 days grace period from the date your bill is due. During these 14 days, you continue to enjoy your Boost Mobile services in full. You can make and receive calls, send and receive texts and use your Mobile data during this period.

The network will send you a reminder during this period to pay your bill. You will continue to enjoy your services as normal if you clear your bill during the grace period.

If after the 14 days grace period you still cannot pay your bill, Boost Mobile will partially interrupt your network service. You can only receive calls and texts, but you can’t make calls or send texts. Note that you can dial 611 and 911 codes during this period.

Boost Mobile will cut off your service completely if you don’t pay your bills 60 days after the due date. Note that if you continue to default on your payment during the grace period, Boost Mobile may remove you from their Premier program.

How To Get Boost Mobile Payment Extension When Not In Premier Program

According to the information on Boost Mobile’s site, the Premier program is only available for old customers. This means that new customers can no longer enroll in the program.
