. Also, the phone must be active on the network for at least 60 days.
Visible Unlock Policy Exceptions
It is possible to unlock your Visible device without meeting the unlock requirements. The network has an exception to its unlock policy. The exception applies to deployed military personnel.
Visible Unlock Policy For Military Personnel
Visible makes an exception for deployed military personnel. This means that, if you have been deployed as military personnel, you can unlock your device on Visible without meeting the unlock requirements. These are the requirements you need to meet to qualify for the exception:
. You have to be deployed as military personnel. You will show your deployment papers as proof.
. No report of fraudulent activities linked to the device. Also, the device must not be reported as stolen or lost.
. Finally, the device has to be in good standing in the network for the duration the device has been active. This means that you’ve been paying your bills on time.
Once you meet these requirements, visit any Visible store near you or contact the customer support department. Submit a copy of your deployment papers and other evidence the network may request. Wait for the network to unlock your device.
What Happens If My Device Meets The Visible Unlock Requirements?
Once your device meets the Visible unlock requirements, the network will unlock your device remotely. You don’t have to contact customer support to unlock the device.
How Much Does It Cost To Unlock A Device On The Visible Network?
Visible will unlock your device for free once it meets the unlocking requirements. You don’t have to pay an extra cent for the process. You only get to pay if you want to unlock your device before meeting the unlocking requirements.
Visible Can’t Unlock Your Device
The network will unlock any device that meets the unlock requirements. If your device has met the device unlock requirements and is still not unlocked, it could be a result of several reasons.
First, it could be that the device is not in good standing in the network. That means you’ve not been paying your bills when due. Another reason could be that some fraudulent activities have been linked to the device.
