The Beam remote control is a Smart Universal remote control brand that allows you to sync your remote to a device seamlessly.
Beam remote control serves as a 6-in-1 remote. Being that the remote can be synced to your TV, Soundbar, DVD player, Satellite/ cable TV, and Blu-ray.
As a smart remote control, the Beam remote can also be used to program another remote. The Beam remote mirrors the other remote control. This can only work on IR powered remote control. Also, the Beam app serves as a replacement remote.
Just like any other universal remote, you need to program the Beam remote to your device before use. This process requires the Beam universal remote codes. That is if you are to program the remote control directly and not from the app.

How To Program A Beam Universal Remote Control
. Go through the codes and find the code for your TV brand. Copy down the code and continue with the steps below.
. Hold your remote close to your TV, press and hold the ‘Program’ button on your remote.
. Release the button after the tiny LED lights up, and press the component button. For this instance, the component is the TV button.
. The LED will blink once. This shows the remote is in programming mode. Enter the 4-digit codes for your TV brand using the number buttons on your remote.
. Once you get the right code, the LED light will stop blinking.
. Press the ‘Power’ button again to test the remote. If it works, it means you’ve successfully programmed your remote.
Program A Beam Universal Remote Control To Another Remote
The other option is to program your original remote to mirror your Beam remote. This only works with remote controls that use IR commands. Follow the steps below to complete the process.
. Press and hold the ‘Program’ button on your remote until the tiny LED turns on.
. Press the component button for the device you want to program. In this instance, the component button is the ‘TV’ button. The tiny LED light will blink.
. Enter the code 8-8-8-8 using the number buttons on your remote. This activates the pairing mode.
. Hold the original remote control very close to your Beam universal remote. The distance between the two remote controls should be maxed at 1.0 inches apart.
. On your Beam remote, press the buttons you want to program to the original remote. For each button, hold down the button for a couple of seconds until you hear the remote beep.
. On the original remote, hold down the same button you held on the Beam remote. Continue to hold down the button until the beep sound on the Beam remote.
. When you are done, finally press the ‘Program’ button on the Beam remote to save the settings.
