How To Activate Assurance Wireless Phone
. Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to switch on your phone.
. Enable the ‘Hands-Free’ activation. This allows your device to connect to the Assurance wireless network.
. Enable your device to check for updates. Also, you will see the option to update the firmware if there is a new version available. To update firmware, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
. Your device will turn off after the update. If your device doesn’t please reboot your device.
. Follow the on-screen instructions, enter the settings and customize your device.
. Dial 611 and follow the voice instructions.
. Check the approval letter from Assurance Wireless for your activation PIN. Enter the PIN when you are prompted to enter the activation PIN.
. Clear Cache On Device
Clearing the cache on your device is a troubleshooting process that helps to resolve minor glitches and enhance the performance of your device. The process can help resolve the SIM Card activation issue. Follow the steps below to clear the cache on your mobile device:
. Switch your mobile device.
. Press and hold the ‘Volume Down’ and ‘Power’ buttons on your device.
. Release the power button when you see the device logo, while still holding down the volume button.
. On the ‘Android System Recovery’ page, scroll to ‘Wipe Cache Partition’ using the volume buttons, and select the option using the power button.
. Select ‘Reboot System Now’ after to power on your device.
. Power Cycle Your Device
The power cycle process helps to fix minor glitches and errors that affect the functionality of a device. It is usually a better alternative to factory reset because you won’t lose your data when you power cycle your device. Follow the steps below to power cycle your mobile device:
. Switch off your device. Remove the battery from your possible
. Wait for a couple of minutes. Replace the battery and turn on your device.
. Wait for the device to reboot and try placing a call on your phone to check if the activation process is successful.
. Reset Your Device

How To Reset Assurance Wireless Phone
There are two methods to reset your Assurance Wireless phone. The two methods are explained below:
Reset Assurance Wireless Phone Method 1:
- Tap the ‘Settings’ icon on your home screen.
- Scroll down and tap on the ‘System’ option.
- Tap on ‘Advanced’ to see the options.
- Select the ‘Reset Options’ > ‘Erase All Data (Factory Reset).
- Select ‘Reset Phone’ and ‘Erase Everything’.
- Enter your password or PIN to start the process.
- Wait for some minutes for the device to complete the reset process.
Reset Assurance Wireless Phone Method 2:
. Press and hold the power button to turn off your phone.
. Press and hold down the Volume down and power buttons today for some seconds. Release the button when you see your device logo.
. Scroll through the options using the volume buttons and select ‘Recovery Mode’.
. Scroll down to ‘Wipe Cache Partition’ and use the power button to select the option.
. It will take you back to the previous page and select ‘Wipe Data/ Factory Reset’.
. Use the power button to select ‘YES’.
. Finally, select the ‘Reboot System Now’ option. Wait for your device to reboot.
